Location:  West Bend, Wisconsin

Contract: 13 weeks

Schedule: 8 hour days plus call.

Requirements:  2 years of Surgical Tech 2 experience

-American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent.

Job Summary:
As a member of the healthcare team, the Surgical Tech 2 collaborates with the surgical team to provide care for patients, ensuring that patient goals are met and the hospital's mission is carried out. Responsibilities include performing procedures across various specialties requiring advanced knowledge and skills, and demonstrating a higher level of collaboration with peers in decision-making related to surgical patient care.

Required Qualifications:
 

• Two years of full-time equivalent experience as a Surgical Technologist.

Required Education:
 

• High School/GED and one of the following:
• Completion of a Surgical Technologist Program.
• Completion of a Military Training Program as an Operating Room Specialist.
• Completion of a Froedtert Health-sponsored Apprentice II Program.
• Ten or more years of experience as a Surgical Tech.

Required Certifications & Licensure:
 

• American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA-approved equivalent.
