Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Radiology Tech in Charlotte, NC. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a focus on patient care and advanced imaging technology.

About the Facility:

• Level I Trauma Center with 874 licensed beds
• Teaching Hospital with a Chest Pain Center and Stroke Center

Department Information:

• Average patients/day: 350-400
• 40 ORs with 12 C-arms and 2 O-arms available
• Main Level (4th floor): 2 x-ray rooms, 3 fluoro rooms, ED: 2 rooms, 15 Portables

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of acute care experience, including trauma level experience (Level I, II, or III)
• First-time travelers accepted with trauma facility experience
• Required License: BLS, ARRT-R

Skills Required:

• General X-ray: imaging of head, neck, spine, extremities, abdomen, hands, feet, chest
• Comfortable with trauma patients and portables at bedside
• Experience in OR: spinal, ortho, general surgery, neuro, and pediatrics
• C-arm experience required; O-arm experience preferred
• EPIC experience required

Soft Skills:

• Confident in clinical skill sets with the ability to work in a fast-paced, high patient acuity environment
• Good communication skills and a helpful, team-oriented attitude preferred

Support Available:

• Lead Tech and Supervisor available 24/7 for staffing assistance
• Collaboration with MD residents and fellows
• Access to other Rad Techs: Days: 22, Mids: 11, Nights: 6, Weekend Days: 12, Weekend Nights: 6
• RT available 24/7 with a Rapid Response/Code Team
• Radiologists always on site

Technology/Equipment:

• EMR: EPIC (required)
• Department specific equipment: Shimadzu RadSpeed general rad room, Konica and Shimadzu portables, Philips C-arm, GE O-arm

Orientation:

• Facility and departmental tours with introductions
• Up to 5 days max departmental orientation, flexible based on needs

Scheduling:

• No weekend and weekday rotations; travelers stay on days and shifts per contract
• No call requirement
• Holiday expectations: work if scheduled
• Manager approval required for RTO

• Scrub Color: Black; OR scrubs provided if assigned there
