We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a contract position in Farmington, CT. This role is ideal for professionals looking to make a significant impact in a rehabilitation setting.

As a Registered Respiratory Therapist, you will work 12-hour night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM, with a rotation every other weekend. This position requires flexibility, as you will also be expected to cover call shifts and work on holidays, with no holiday time off accommodated. You will be part of a dynamic team caring for adults with respiratory and cardiac conditions, as well as orthopedic needs.

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing respiratory therapy to adult patients in various settings including ER, ICU, Med-Surg, Telemetry, and Psychiatric units.
• Floating to different departments as needed to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Collaborating with healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.

Requirements for this position include:

• Active RRT certification through the NBRC or an equivalent certifying body.
• BLS certification.
• State license in ST or CT.
• NRP certification is highly desired.
• EPIC experience is required.
• 1-2 years of experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist.
• Travel experience is required.

Mandatory overtime may be required, as you will be included in the unit's rotation pool. The facility may float or reassign personnel to different departments or units within 30 miles of the originally assigned facility, based on clinical competence.
