We are seeking a dedicated Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) for a contract position in Burlington, NC. This role is ideal for experienced RNs looking for a travel opportunity in a supportive healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide care for patients ranging from adulthood through geriatrics, including orthopedic and medical surgical patients.
• Monitor patients with telemetry as required.
• Work in a 29-bed unit that features a physical therapy gym, enabling patients to receive therapy without leaving the unit.
• Handle high-volume patient populations, including those who have undergone total joint replacements, fracture repairs, and kyphoplasties.
• Manage moderate-volume patient populations, including inpatient and 24-hour observation medical patients.
• Work as Charge RN as needed.
• Float to other areas as required.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience as an RN.
• Previous travel experience is required.
• Charge RN experience is mandatory.
• BLS certification is required.
• Availability to work every other weekend (Saturday and Sunday).
• No call required.
