Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Travel RN in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) in Johnstown, PA. This is an exciting opportunity for experienced RNs looking to enhance their careers in a dynamic healthcare environment. The facility is renowned for its clinical excellence and offers specialized services, including a Level I Trauma Center.

Travelers MUST have Cardiac Cath experience and must be able and willing to work all shift times, including Days, Nights, and Mids. Candidates who have no RTO will receive AUTO OFFERS. All candidates must complete and clear screenings prior to starting. Orientation is weekly, on Mondays, and candidates must be 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered for travel rates.

As a Travel RN in the PCU, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients with cardiac conditions. The patient population primarily consists of geriatric and adult patients with diagnoses such as CP, MI, Open Heart, Watchmen, TAVR, and postoperative cardiac care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and assess patient conditions and vital signs.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and families on health management and post-discharge care.

Requirements:

• Active RN license in Pennsylvania.
• Current BLS certification.
• 2+ years of nursing experience preferred.
• Must have Cardiac experience.

This position offers a supportive environment with a positive attitude and a focus on professional growth. The facility utilizes EPIC for electronic health records and has a patient ratio of RN 1:5, with NA support.
