Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Travel RN in the Med Surg unit, where you'll have the opportunity to make a significant impact on patient care. This position is ideal for experienced RNs looking to expand their expertise in a dynamic environment.

Unit Highlights:

• Unit: 2 South (610)
• Classification: RN - Med/Tele (ACLS REQUIRED)
• Shift Detail: 12 Hours, Rotating Weekends
• Call Requirements: No

Special Skills/Experience Required:

• BLS & ACLS certifications are required
• 2+ years of Med/Surg specialty experience required
• 2+ years of hospital experience required

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Meditech documentation system preferred

Licensure:

• Active TX RN License required (temporary licenses are not accepted)
• Compact RN License - Active

Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care in accordance with established policies and procedures
• Ensure a safe and therapeutic environment for patients
• Demonstrate competence in nursing practice and clinical skills
• Supervise other staff as designated within the department

Patient Experience Requirements:

• Demonstrate patience and effective communication with patients
• Utilize AIDET, Bed Side Reporting, Hour Rounding, and Service Recovery Steps

Dress Code:

• Scrub Color: Navy Blue with Med City Embroidery (Proof of Purchase REQUIRED)
• Nail Policy: Clean and healthy; no artificial nails, gel, or next-gen nails
• Hair: Neat and clean with no extreme styles or colors; must be pulled back if shoulder length or longer
• Tattoos: Should be covered whenever possible
• Piercings: Visible piercings other than ears are prohibited
