Join a leading acute-care hospital as an ER Registered Nurse in New Haven, CT. This is a fantastic opportunity for RNs looking to work in a dynamic Emergency Department (ER) setting. The facility features a 16 Bed ED Observation Unit, providing a non-admitted observation level of care separate from the main ED.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.
• Maintain RN ED ratios of average 1:6 during both day and night shifts.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Requirements:

• Preferred 2 years of experience; 1.5 years from a similar hospital may be considered.
• Certifications: TNCC, ACLS, BLS required.
• Must be open to floating within the scope to meet facility needs.
• Pending licenses are accepted.
• RTO greater than 7 days requires approval.

Special Notes:

• First-time travelers are welcome.
• Weekend requirements: Every other weekend.
• Block schedule accommodations are available.
• If the traveler does not meet requirements for the York Street Campus ED, they will only be scheduled at NP 1 Observation Unit.
• Makeup shifts for weekend call-outs will be rescheduled within the next 6-week scheduling period.

This facility is a Short Term Acute Care Level I Trauma Center with a total of 1,567 staffed beds. Charting is done through Epic, and parking is available for $125/month.
