Join a leading healthcare provider as a dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) specializing in Long Term Care (LTC/SNF) in Norman, OK. This contract position offers an opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of patients with cognitive and/or ADL physical functioning disorders.

As an Occupational Therapist, you will:

• Effectively screen and evaluate patients with cognitive and/or ADL physical functioning disorders, developing appropriate plans of care in accordance with regulatory and clinical practice standards.
• Utilize standardized assessments and evidence-based practices to support clinical interventions.
• Provide rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions to patients per regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
• Administer various procedures as part of the rehabilitation plan, including ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and the use of supportive and assistive devices.
• Assess patient progress and adjust treatments accordingly, documenting all information in the clinical record as required.
• Evaluate treatment outcomes for effectiveness and modify services based on patient evaluations.
• Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers regarding physical disorders.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and other health team members about patient progress, barriers, and treatment plans.
• Document all regulatory and clinically required information in the electronic documentation system, maintaining patient records according to company policy.
• Participate in required meetings, including patient care conferences and rehabilitation meetings.
• Supervise and support occupational therapist assistants, rehabilitation aides, and/or students.
• Adhere to NBCOT and State Required practice acts, code of conduct, and ethics during professional practice as an Occupational Therapist.
