Join our team as a PACU Registered Nurse in Albuquerque, NM, where you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to patients in the post-anesthesia care unit. This contract position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare environment at a leading acute-care hospital.

**Key Responsibilities:**

• Provide care to patients recovering from anesthesia and surgical procedures.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and manage any post-operative complications.
• Collaborate with the surgical team and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Float to the Holding area in the PACU department as needed, with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:3-5.

**Requirements:**

• Must have 2 years of experience as a PACU RN.
• Experience in a Level I trauma center and telemetry is required.
• Certifications: BCLS, ACLS, PALS.
• Must work 2 out of 3 holiday bundles (Thanksgiving & the day after, Christmas Eve & Christmas Day, NYE & NYD).
• On-call requirement: 1-2 call overnight shifts monthly.
• Must be willing to accommodate a block schedule (not open to block scheduling).
• Locals within 100 miles are not accepted.
• Pending licenses are accepted.
• RTO restrictions: Greater than 7 days needs approval.

This position guarantees 36 hours per week, with potential call-offs allowed up to 3 times throughout a 13-week assignment. Overtime is applicable after 48 hours for all contracts signed on or after 10/30/2025. New contracts and extensions must be at least 10 weeks, and a 6-month break is required for any travelers who have worked 4 consecutive assignments or reached their one-year mark, whichever comes first.
