Join a leading acute-care hospital in Springfield, IL, as a CT Tech specializing in Radiology/Cardiology. This contract position offers a dynamic work environment and the opportunity to make a significant impact in patient care.

Position / Specialty: CT Tech

Shift: 1st shift/days 4 10s 0700-1730, every 3rd weekend, call required at least 1 night/week

Years of Experience Required: Minimum 2 years' experience required. First-timers accepted.

Certifications Required: ARRT, ARRT-CT, BLS, and an active Illinois state license (or in application process with ETA).

Floating: Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? No.

Block Schedule: Open to accommodating block schedule; discuss schedule requests with the manager.

Local Candidates: Yes - no radius restrictions.

Guaranteed Hours: Client may call-off up to 36 hours per thirteen-week assignment without paying for the cancelled hours. If more hours are cancelled than permitted, the client will be billed for shifts or portions thereof cancelled in excess of this section. If candidates are placed on-call instead of being called off, that will count as a called-off shift.

Special Requirements: Required work setting experience includes Adult Acute Care, Adult Outpatient, ICU, Emergency Department, and Level I Trauma. Required skills/experience include:

• Abdomen and Pelvis CT: Abdomen without and/or with contrast, Pelvis without and/or with contrast.
• Chest CT: Chest without and/or with contrast, Vascular chest (e.g., pulmonary embolism, CTA, aorta).
• Head and Neck CT: Carotid, Head without and/or with contrast, Sinuses, Soft tissue neck, Trauma head.
• Image Display and Post Processing: 3D rendering (Maximum intensity projection, Surface shaded displays, Volume rendering), Multiplanar reconstruction (MRP), Region of interest measurement (ROI).
• Professional Knowledge: Isolation Precautions, Preparation and/or administration of contrast media, Radiation Safety, Starting Peripheral IVs, Venipuncture.
• Special Procedure Skills: Coronary CTA.
• Spine and Musculoskeletal CT: Cervical, Lumbar, Musculoskeletal trauma, Thoracic.
