Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Travel RN specializing in Telemetry. This contract position offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, providing high-quality care to patients in need. With a focus on Neuro Medical Surgical and Telemetry units, you will be part of a dedicated team committed to excellence in patient care.

Position Details:

• Shift: 07:00-19:00 (Days), 19:00-07:00 (Nights); every other weekend required.
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: 72 Bi-Weekly or 96 Bi-Weekly options available.
• Call Requirements: None
• Floating Required: May float to other med-surg or tele units.
• Patient Ratio: 5:1 or 6:1
• Monthly Department Volume: 24
• Number of Beds in Facility: 396
• Number of Beds in Unit: 24

Requirements:

• Active RN IN licensure
• ACLS, BLS, NIHSS certifications (can be obtained during the first week of orientation)
• 1-2 years of experience in a similar role
• Keen neuro assessments and critical thinking skills
• Experience with drain management

Scope of Role: You will be working with higher med-surg acuity, including post-op spinal surgeries, level 2 trauma patients, and level 1 trauma post-ICU care. Additionally, you will care for stroke patients and those with diagnoses such as DKA, renal failure, and general post-operative care.

Travelers must submit required licenses and certifications, including a driver's license and permanent home address that matches ID. Local candidates are not accepted; travelers must be greater than 50 miles from the facility.
