Key Responsibilities:

• Perform CT and X-ray procedures independently, often with single staff coverage for both modalities.
• Ensure high-quality imaging while adhering to safety protocols.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide excellent patient care.
• Maintain professionalism and good communication skills with patients and team members.

Requirements:

• Must have 2 years of experience in a hospital setting.
• Active Virginia license or compact license at the time of submission.
• Certifications required: CPR, ARRT, ARRT-CT.
• Ability to work independently and cover both CT and X-ray.

Unit Specifics:

• 12-bed freestanding ER with a vertical fast track area.
• Average of 80 patients per day, with winter surge volumes exceeding 100.
• Type of equipment: GE Optima CT scanner, GE portable x-ray.
• Documentation system: Meditech, Sectra.
• Excellent teamwork and culture with high patient experience scores (>80 percentile).
