We are currently seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse to join our team in Seattle, WA. This is a contract position in a leading acute-care hospital known for its commitment to patient care and staff support.

Position Overview: The ICU Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality care to critically ill patients in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of ICU experience, with proficiency in telemetry and the management of dysrhythmias.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in the ICU.
• Monitor and interpret telemetry readings.
• Administer medications and manage IV therapy.
• Provide conscious sedation and ventilator management.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Requirements:

• Active RN license (compact accepted with requirements).
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• Proficient in the interpretation and management of dysrhythmias (tele test required).
• Experience with vents, telemetry, and conscious sedation.
• Preferred skills include IV start, ICP, PA Lines, and Level 1 trauma experience.

• Facility Type: Magnet, Teaching, Level I Trauma Center.
• Patient Population: 70% Medical (Sepsis, PNA, ARDS, organ failure, DKA), 30% Cardiology (Heart Failure, post-arrest, arrhythmias).
• Scrub Color: Any solid color scrubs; light blue scrubs provided on the unit.
• Charting System: Epic.
• Parking: Daily onsite parking costs $15 (M-F), $4 (Sat/Sun), $5 (Eves), $4 (Nights).
