Join our team as a Step Down Registered Nurse in St. Louis, MO, and be part of a leading acute-care hospital that prioritizes exceptional patient care. We are seeking a dedicated RN with experience in Progressive Care Unit (PCU) settings. This contract position offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact in patient recovery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Progressive Care Unit.
• Manage patient care, including vent management, telemetry, and trach management.
• Perform procedures such as phlebotomy, port access, and central line management.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Requirements:

• Must have at least 1 year of PCU experience.
• Certifications required: BCLS, ACLS.
• BSN preferred.
• Ability to pass the Relias EKG exam and interpret/manage dysrhythmias.
• Experience with vents, IV starts, telemetry, long-term vent, weaning, and pulmonary rehab.
• Must be willing to float within the service line as needed.
• Local candidates must reside at least 75 miles from the facility.
• Pending licenses are accepted.
• No more than 7 days of requested time off (RTO) allowed.
