Join our dedicated team as a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) in Seneca, SC, at a leading acute-care hospital. We are seeking compassionate and skilled RNs to provide exceptional care in our Labor & Delivery unit. This is a contract position with a focus on delivering high-quality healthcare services to expectant mothers and their newborns.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience and will be required to float to other units or campuses as needed, while prioritizing care in their home unit. Our facility is a Baby Friendly Facility, and RNs are cross-trained in labor and delivery, circulator roles, acute care nursery, and OB triage. Responsibilities include caring for GYN surgery patients and performing hearing screenings for newborns.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 care for labor patients and 1:2 for cytotec inductions.
• Manage 1:1 care for magnesium patients and 1:3 for couplet (mother-baby) care.
• Ensure high standards of care in a fast-paced environment.
• Utilize the Omnicell medication system for safe medication administration.
• Participate in weekend coverage every other week.

Required Certifications:

• ACLS
• AWHONN Intermediate
• BLS
• NRP
• Active RN state license

Additional Requirements:

• 1 year of EPIC experience is required.
• Floating is limited to areas where staff are qualified and have documented competencies.
