Join a leading acute-care hospital as a PACU Registered Nurse in Portland, OR. This role offers the opportunity to work in the South PACU, a 38-bay unit providing 24/7 perianesthesia care to adult and some pediatric patients. Experience in adult or pediatric critical care through ICU or high acuity ED or PACU is essential.
The South PACU prepares ambulatory, acute care, and critical care patients for surgery and other procedures. After surgeries, patients are recovered from anesthesia and transitioned either to the inpatient setting or discharged home. The unit is staffed around the clock and utilizes call support for nights, weekends, and holidays.
Flexibility is key, as the position may require variable shifts with the possibility of some night and/or call. Potential start times include 0530, 0900, 1100, 1300, 1500, and 1900. The shift will remain consistent each week, if not for the entire contract.
