Join a leading acute-care hospital in Beckley, WV, as a CT Technologist. This contract position offers the opportunity to provide exceptional care to a diverse patient population, including pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients. You will be part of a facility that treats over 50,000 patients annually in its emergency room and is accredited by the Joint Commission.

As a CT Technologist, you will perform a variety of CT procedures, including CT Brain, Spine, Chest, Abdomen/Pelvis, and Trauma. You will be responsible for ensuring patient safety and comfort while delivering high-quality imaging services. The facility boasts advanced equipment, including the GE Revolution EVO, and utilizes Meditech for electronic health records.

• Shift: 6pm-6am
• Call Requirements: None
• Required Certifications: ARRT (R) required; (CT) preferred
• Years of Experience: Minimum 3 years
• Float Requirements: None

Unit Information:

• Department: CT Scan
• Facility Type: Level 3 Trauma Center
• Number of Beds: 300

Must-Have Skills/Experience:

• CT scanning skills for all routine procedures
• Venipuncture skills

Preferred Skillset/Experience:

• Trauma experience
• Ability to perform multiple exams on the same patient in a timely fashion

Common Diagnosis/Treatment:

• CVA
• PE
• Fractures
• Appendicitis
• Pneumonia
• COPD

Personality Fit: You should be friendly, customer service-oriented, and focused on patient satisfaction. The current staff is known for their approachable and easy-going nature, and you must maintain excellent hygiene standards.

Required Education: Associate of Science in Radiologic Technology with ARRT credentials.

Dress Code: Scrub color: black; unacceptable attire includes dirty scrubs or shoes.
