Join a leading acute-care hospital in Englewood, CO, as a Travel RN specializing in Med/Surg. This contract position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare environment. You will be part of a dedicated team providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced setting.
Unit Information:
- Unit Name: 7 North-Spine
- Number of Beds: 18-20
- Number of Staff: 35
- Day Shift Staffing: 1 charge nurse, 2-3 RNs, 1 LPN, 1-3 PCTs
- Night Shift Staffing: 1 charge nurse, 3 RNs, 1 LPN, 1-2 PCTs
- Patient Ratios: 6:1 with LPN
- Type of Equipment: Hoyer lifts, air taps, wound vacs, PCA
- EMR: Meditech
Typical Hiring Profile:
- Must Have: Minimum 1-year hospital Med/Surg experience, BLS certification
- Preferred: Burn Care experience, Wound Care, Ostomy Care experience, ACLS certification
Typical Procedures Performed:
- Wound and dressing care on post-op burn and flap patients
