Unit Information:

• Number of Beds: 20
• Number of Staff: 51
• Patient Ratios: 1:2; 1:1
• Type of Equipment: Philip monitor, Alaris and Medfusion IV pumps
• EMR: Meditech

Typical Hiring Profile:

• Must Have: Minimum 1-year current PICU RN experience, BLS & PALS
• Preferred: Post-op cardiac experience, venous puncture skills

Typical Procedures Performed on Unit:

• Conscious sedations
• Care of respiratory failure (ETT, HFOV)
• CT placement
• Central line maintenance and care
