REQUIRED SKILLS / CERTIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required
• Unit accepts first-time travelers
• Local candidates accepted (rate difference applies)
• Skills: IV Start, Telemetry
• Certifications: BCLS (Basic Life Support)
• Must have EPIC experience

PREFERRED SKILLS / CERTIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE:

• Certifications: ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), NIH (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)

JOB DETAILS:

• Target Ratios: 1:6/7, with a maximum of 1:7 during critical staffing
• Unit accepts 13-week assignments or longer, through 2/27 end date
• 36 hours can be offered
• Shift: 12-hour nights; 18:45 - 07:15
• RTO (Request Time Off): 7 days maximum for auto offer
• Float Requirement: Floating required as needed
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend required

PATIENT DIAGNOSES: Patients are primarily med-surg (note: cardiac telemetry patients are no longer accepted).

UNIT SYSTEMS: Pyxis, EPIC, SBAR

SCHEDULING TYPE: Self-scheduling

UNIT ORIENTATION: 24 hours

SCRUBS: Not provided; navy and/or white scrubs required.
