Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Travel RN specializing in Med Surg and Telemetry in Lake Havasu City, AZ. This position offers a unique opportunity to work in a community hospital that is Joint Commission Accredited and serves as a regional referral center with 171 beds. Enjoy the beautiful scenery of Lake Havasu and the surrounding mountain ranges while being conveniently located near major cities like Las Vegas and Phoenix.
Position Information:
- Role: RN M/S Tele
- Shift: 3x12s
- Orientation: Weekly
- Call Requirements: None (flexible scheduling available)
Unit Information:
- Number of Beds: 40
- Patient Ratios: 1:6
- Equipment: Baxter IV pumps, Posey bed/chair alarms, Omnicel drug dispensing cabinet, Zoll defibrillators
- EHR: Medhost
- Patient Population: Adult/Geriatric
Hiring Profile:
- Must Have Skills/Experience: Telemetry, recent acute care experience, ability to handle a 6 patient ratio, travel experience
- Preferred Skillset/Experience: At least 2 years RN experience, preceptor and charge experience is a plus
- Type of Patients on Unit: Total joint patients, surgical patients, ACS, patients with acute on chronic medical conditions like CHF, CKD, alcohol withdrawal, SIRS, GIB
- Personality Fit: Compassionate, positive, can-do attitude
- Required Education: ADN
