Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Respiratory Therapist specializing in Neurology in Bridgeport, CT. This contract position offers an exciting opportunity for experienced professionals to provide exceptional care in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver respiratory care to patients, including those in the NICU and Pediatric units.
• Float between the facility and Milford Campuses as needed.
• Work every other weekend and holidays as required.
• Orientate students and new hires if necessary.

Requirements:

• Must have travel experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience required.
• Level II Trauma experience required.
• Draeger Vent experience required.
• BLS certification, and CRT or RRT plus state license required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• NICU experience preferred but not required.

Travelers should expect to rotate through all areas of the hospital, including the NICU and Pediatric units. The frequency of floating is dependent on census and staffing needs at the time, so while it may vary, the expectation is that staff are prepared to support all units as needed.

Charting will be done via EPIC. The facility offers free parking and is part of the Yale New Haven Health System.
