Join a leading acute-care hospital as a PCU RN in Columbia, MO! We are seeking dedicated and experienced Registered Nurses for a contract position in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU). This is a fantastic opportunity for RNs looking to further their careers in a supportive and dynamic environment.

Unit: Stepdown. Floating is required. Preference will be given to candidates with both ICU and PCU experience. A minimum of 2 years critical care experience is required.

Top Diagnosis/Procedures: Surgical of all types, medicals of all types, neuro patients at times.

Common Equipment: Bladder scanners, IV pumps, PCA pumps, SCD's, BiPAPs, CPAPs, OptiFlows, Airvos.

Vasoactive Drip Titration Required: Neosynephrine, Amiodarone, Cardizem, among a few others.

Nurse Patient Ratio: 1:03 (not guaranteed).

Line Management Skills:

• Required: IV Insertion, PICC/Central Line Management, Vascular Device Access/Care, Dialysis Fistula Care/Management, A-Line Management.
• Preferred: CVP Cardiac Skills.

Airway:

• Required: CPAP/BiPAP, Trach Care.

Ortho/MS/Onc:

• Required: Epidural/PCA pumps, Feeding Tubes, Wound Vac.
