We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Labor & Delivery (L&D) for a travel contract position in Gadsden, AL. This is an exciting opportunity to provide high-quality care to patients during the antepartum, intrapartum, immediate postpartum, and neonatal phases of Obstetrical care.
The Registered Nurse will hold shift accountability for delivering exceptional patient care by utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and facility policies. The ideal candidate will demonstrate critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership in anticipating and planning for safe delivery of care. Maintaining clinical competencies through continuing education and providing direction and supervision of assigned personnel are essential responsibilities of this role.
Requirements:
- Current Alabama RN license (no NURSYS Hits)
- ACLS, BLS, and NRP certifications
- Minimum of 2 years of L&D RN experience
- Must live 50+ miles from the facility
