Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Step Down Registered Nurse in Cleveland, OH. This contract position offers the opportunity to work in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) and Step Down environment, where you will provide high-quality care to patients transitioning from intensive care.

As a Step Down RN, you will be responsible for:

• Delivering patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment.
• Monitoring patients and assessing their conditions.
• Administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Requirements for this position include:

• A minimum of 12 months of permanent experience in the specialty you are applying for.
• Current Ohio RN license or a compact state license in hand.
• American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS.
• Willingness to work at least every other holiday.
• Completion of an ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment during orientation, with acceptable scores required.

This role may involve floating to units J1-2, J33, and the ED to care for the same patient population, depending on operational needs. While the facility will strive to honor your preferred shift, they reserve the right to rotate shifts as necessary.
