Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Step Down Registered Nurse in Cleveland, OH. This contract position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) and Step Down setting. You will be part of a dedicated team providing high-quality patient care while enjoying the benefits of a supportive work environment.

The facility may require floating to units J1-2, J33, and ED to care for the same patient population. While shifts may be variable, the facility will do its best to honor travelers' preferred shifts, but reserves the right to rotate them if necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Progressive Care Unit.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, implementing appropriate interventions.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and families on care plans and health management.

Requirements:

• MUST HAVE 12 months of permanent experience in the specialty applying for.
• MUST HAVE a permanent Ohio license or Compact State license in hand.
• AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS & NIHSS certifications required.
• Traveler must work at least every other holiday.
• ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate will be completed during orientation, with an acceptable score on both assessments required.
