Unit Information:

• Number of Beds: 22
• Number of Staff: 23
• Patient Ratios: 1:4
• Type of Equipment: Splinting, defibrillator, Hamilton Vent, Welch Allyn, Bedside Cardiac Monitoring
• EMR: Meditech Magic transitioning to Meditech Expanse on 8/13

Typical Hiring Profile/Skill Set:

Must Have:

• ACLS
• BLS
• PALS
• TNCC
• NIHSS
• CPI
• RN License

Preferred or Nice to Have:

• ENPC
• NRP

Typical Procedures Performed:

• IV Starts
• Blood Draws
• Moderate Sedations
• Splinting

Best Personality Fit: Teamwork and Patient Experience Focus.

Required Certifications: ACLS, PALS, BLS, TNCC, CPI, RN License, NIHSS.

Dress Code: Royal Blue scrubs, closed-toed shoes (no crocs with holes), no false nails, air pods, or meta glasses. Stethoscope should be available for assessment.

Unit Guidelines/Policies: Regulatory Guidelines per Joint Commission - No food and drinks at the nurses' station.

Weekends and On-Call: Weekends as needed or every other, whatever preferred. No on-call required.
