Unit Information:

• Number of Beds: 10
• Staffing: 3 RNs, 1 Radiology Tech, 1 MD
• Patient Ratios: 1:5
• EMR: Meditech

Typical Hiring Profile:

• Must Have:
  • Proficiency in Meditech
  • Strong triage skills and efficient in prioritizing patient care
  • Comfortable managing patients of all ages
• Preferred:
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish
  • Experience in Level 1 and 2 trauma center settings
  • Ability to assist in obstetric deliveries in the emergency room
  • Familiarity with rapid sequence intubation techniques
  • Proficiency in setting up for mechanical ventilation

• Splinting
• Moderate sedation
• Chest tube insertion
• Placement of central lines
• Arterial blood gas
• Lumbar puncture
• Nebulizer treatments

• BLS
