A leading acute-care hospital has been a part of the Uintah Basin since 1941. This facility is a Joint Commission Accredited 39-bed hospital located in the heart of Dinosaur Land in Vernal, Utah. The Emergency Room at this facility treats over 14,000 patients a year and is staffed 24-hours a day with a dedicated emergency room physician. The hospital is a designated Level IV Trauma Center, has been designated as a Stroke Receiving Facility by the Utah State Department of Health, is Chest Pain Accredited, and holds a 5-star CMS rating. Orientation is monthly, occurring the 2nd full week of the month from Monday to Thursday.
