Join our team as a Psychiatry Registered Nurse at a leading acute-care hospital in Fort Wayne, IN. This is a contract position in a specialized psychiatric unit focusing on substance use disorder (SUD) treatment. You will be part of a dedicated team providing care to adults in a supportive environment.
Department Details: This facility features 104 beds, including 20 for detox and 84 for residential treatment, serving adults aged 18 and older. The nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:10, with one tech on shift and the Director of Nursing (DON) or admin available on call.
Required Certifications/Education/Licensure:
- Indiana or compact RN license
- BLS certification
- Aegis training (can be completed on-site)
Required Experience: A minimum of 2 years of inpatient substance abuse treatment experience is required, along with familiarity with COWs and CIWAs.
Dress Code: Pewter charcoal scrubs are required.
Documentation: Experience with EHR-HCS is preferred.
