Join our team as a Cath Lab Registered Nurse in Washington, DC, where you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care in the Cardiac Cath Lab. This contract position offers a supportive environment with no call, no weekends, and no major holidays, allowing you to focus on your patients without the stress of unpredictable hours.

As a Cath Lab RN, you will work 5x8-hour shifts from 07:00 to 15:30, contributing to the health and well-being of patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures. We are looking for a dedicated professional with at least 2 years of experience and one previous travel assignment.

Requirements:

• ACLS and BLS certification
• Current DC nursing license
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Cath Lab
• Experience with diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures
• Ability to assist with central line insertion/management
• Skills in starting IVs and interpreting/managing dysrhythmias
• Knowledge of isolation precautions and monitoring procedural sedation
• Experience in ventilator monitoring and PA lines

This position is located in a leading short-term acute care teaching hospital with a total of 402 staffed beds. The facility utilizes Cerner for charting, and scrubs are provided for this unit. Please note that there is a parking cost associated with this facility.
