Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Travel RN in Women's Services, specializing in OB/GYN. This contract position is located in Andalusia, AL, and offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on patient care in a supportive environment.

As a Travel RN in Women's Services, you will perform essential plan of care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, and clinical treatments. You will appropriately assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care while monitoring, recording, and communicating patient conditions to the care team, physicians, patients, and families.

Your responsibilities will include assisting patients with daily living activities, collaborating across disciplines to coordinate patient care, and evaluating the learning needs of patients and/or families. You will also provide education tailored to the age, culture, condition, and circumstances of patients and their families, advocating for their physical and emotional well-being.

In this role, you will circulate during C/Sections, attend deliveries, and assist the physician as needed. You will follow appropriate policies during the recovery and care of surgical patients, attend the neonatal station in the C/Section suite, and assess neonates post-delivery. You are required to attend fetal monitoring certification classes every two years and maintain NRP certification.

Facility Requirements:

• Must have ACLS, BLS, NRP, STABLE & AWHONN certifications; must be attached to submission (Must be through the American Heart Association)
• Must have AL RN or multi-state RN license, must be attached to resume
• Must have 2 years recent RN Level 1 Nursery, Postpartum, OB/GYN & L&D/LDRP experience
• This can include taking care of OB/GYN patients (post-op hysterectomy), Antepartum care, Triage care, Labor and Delivery care, and Postpartum
