Join a leading healthcare provider as a Physical Therapist in San Antonio, TX. This contract position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment within a 378-bed hospital, specializing in orthopedic/elective joints, neurology, vascular, and general medical/surgical care. You will be part of a dedicated team of 27 Physical Therapists, 19 Occupational Therapists, and 5 Speech Therapists, with a focus on providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct therapy evaluations and treatments.
• Screen patients for appropriate therapy services.
• Provide discharge recommendations for patients.

Requirements:

• Must have a valid and up-to-date Texas therapy license.
• Flexible to changing schedules and willing to work weekends.
• Fast learner and receptive to training.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in Acute Care and in ARU (Acute Rehabilitation Unit).
• Familiarity with Meditech EMR.

• Ability to work well under pressure and handle unexpected situations.

Dress Code: Olive green scrub tops and black scrub pants.

Unit Guidelines: Adhere to HIPAA, TJC, hospital safety guidelines, and therapy care policies per APTA/AOTA guidelines.
