Join our team as a CT Scan Tech in Carlsbad, NM, at a leading healthcare facility, where you will play a vital role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services. This contract position offers an exciting opportunity for skilled professionals in the field of Radiology.
As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for conducting professional, timely, and accurate diagnostic C-T examinations of specific anatomy as prescribed by the referring physician, adhering to established policies and procedures. You will provide C-T care to patients to obtain diagnostic quality radiographs for interpretation by the radiologist.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform basic radiographic procedures, fluoroscopy, portable radiographic procedures, C-arm procedures, and OR imaging services.
- Demonstrate proficiency in routine diagnostic CT scanning procedures, including CT of head/brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen/pelvis, extremities, and biopsy/drainage procedures.
- Maintain knowledge of processing of CT systems, surgical/sterile procedures, studies with or without contrast media, and cross-sectional anatomy.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in CT and X-ray required.
- ARRT CT certification required.
- Graduate of an accredited AMA school.
- Licensed by the state as a general radiographer.

- EMR = Medhost.
