As a Travel RN in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU)/Clinical Decision Unit, you will be part of a dedicated team providing exceptional care to patients in a mixed level of care environment. The unit features:
- Number of Beds: 20
- Staffing: Day Shift - 1 charge RN, 4 RNs, 2 CNAs; Night Shift - 1 charge RN, 4 RNs, 2 CNAs
- Patient Ratios: 1:5/1:6, stretch dependent on level of care
- Equipment: Telemetry; all patients hardwired to bedside monitors if telemetry monitoring is indicated
- EMR: Cerner
Typical Hiring Profile:
- Must Have: Telemetry competency, Progressive Care experience
- Preferred: Recent progressive care experience
Best Personality Fit: We are looking for candidates with a positive attitude, patient experience focus, kindness, compassion, and the ability to work well in a team.
Required Certifications: BLS and ACLS
Floating Areas: Travelers may be required to float to other units if needed.
Dress Code: Scrub Color/Attire - Navy and/or white top, navy bottom, all white.
Weekend and On-Call Requirements: Every other weekend required, no call required.
