We are seeking a dedicated Travel RN for the Emergency Department (ER) to join our team. If you are ready for a rewarding career, learn more about our sign-on or relocation bonus!
Unit Specifics:
- Number of Beds: 101
- Patient Ratios: 4:1 typically - medical, up to 7:1 on ED behavioral holds
- Type of Equipment: Baxter pumps, GE monitors
- Documentation System: Cerner
Scheduling Requirements: Every other weekend; cannot commit to block scheduling; must meet the needs of the department.
Floating Policy: No floating outside of the ED but must be open to floating to all sections in the ED.
Patient Experience Requirements: AIDET, respectful behavior, and keeping patients updated throughout their visit.
Certifications Required:
- ACLS before starting date
- BLS before starting date
- PALS before starting date
- TNCC before starting date
- CPI before starting date
- NIHSS before starting date
- ENPC within 90 days of hire
Hiring Profile Requested Skill Set:
- 2 years experience in a Level II trauma center and high-volume ED (> 100,000 visits)
- At least 1 year experience in an ER setting
- Teamwork mentality and ability to provide real-time feedback
- Flexibility to work in all areas of the ED
Dress Code: Navy scrubs.
