Travel RN - Emergency Department | Fort Wayne, IN | Contract

Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Travel RN in the Emergency Department! We are seeking dedicated and experienced Registered Nurses to provide exceptional care during night shifts from 7 PM to 7:30 AM. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a focus on trauma care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Monitor and assess patient conditions, administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
  • Participate in patient education and discharge planning.

Requirements:

  • Current RN licensure in Indiana.
  • ACLS, BLS, TNCC, PALS/ENPC, NRP preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience, with a preference for 5+ years in Emergency Nursing.
  • Familiarity with EMR systems, specifically Cerner.

Additional Details:

  • This position requires working both holidays (Thanksgiving and Christmas).
  • Block scheduling may be available, depending on availability.
  • The patient ratio is 1:4 in the ED, with a total of 30 beds in the unit.
  • Travelers must be greater than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates will not be accepted.
