We are seeking a skilled Medical Technologist specializing in Laboratory services for a contract position in Madison, WI. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare environment.
The position requires evening shifts, specifically 8-hour shifts from Monday to Friday, 4:00 pm to midnight. A weekend rotation is required, with a schedule of 1:4 weekends, working either from 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm or 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm.
To be considered for this role, candidates must have at least 2 years of experience in a hospital laboratory and possess a high skill set in all areas of microbiology as per the skills checklist. We are looking for someone who can read complex cultures with minimal training, indicating a strong background in microbiology.
Qualifications include:
- ASCP MT or MLS certification required
- Bachelor's degree in a chemical, physical, biological, or clinical laboratory science, or medical technology required
