Unit Information:

• Unit: Medical Acute Care / (620)
• Number of Beds: 26
• Staffing: Day Shift - Charge, 4 RNs, and 3 PCT; Night Shift - Charge, 4 RNs, 2 PCT
• Patient Ratios: 6:1
• Type of Equipment: Baxter IV pumps, SCD machines
• EMR: Meditech

Typical Hiring Profile:

• Must Have: Minimum of 1-year current Med/Surg acute care hospital experience, BLS certification.
• Preferred: ACLS certification.

Typical Procedures Performed:

• Medical patients
• Some drips such as heparin
• Post-op radial cardiac cath
