Join a leading healthcare provider as a Travel Registered Nurse (RN) in the Senior Behavioral Health Unit. This is a fantastic opportunity for dedicated RNs looking to make a difference in the lives of patients in a supportive environment. As part of our team, you will provide high-quality care to patients with behavioral health needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct behavioral health evaluations of assigned patients.
• Plan, implement, and document nursing care effectively.
• Assist nursing peers and physicians during examinations and procedures.
• Perform various patient tests and administer medications within the RN scope of practice.
• Promote patient independence by establishing care goals and educating patients and families on conditions, medications, and self-care skills.

Requirements:

• 1+ year of experience required.
• BLS certification required.
• De-escalation training (SAMA or CPI) required.
• Previous experience in a geriatric psychiatric unit required.
• Recent experience in a Senior Behavioral Health setting within an acute care hospital (within the last year) is required.

Additional Information:

• 48-hour weekly guarantees are NOT approved.
• Blocked scheduling CANNOT be accommodated.
• Maximum RTO: 1 week.
• Scrub color: Any solid color.
• Beds in Unit: 19.
• Patient ratio: 1:7.
• No call required.
• No floating required.
• EMR: MedHost.
• Any CPI certification is acceptable; training with SAMA can be provided during orientation.
