Join a leading healthcare facility as a Travel RN in the PACU (Post Anesthesia Care Unit). This position offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic environment while providing exceptional patient care. We are seeking dedicated and compassionate nurses to join our team for a 13-week contract.

Unit Information:

• Number of Beds: 10 bays
• Number of Staff: 13 RNs
• Patient Ratios: per CPAN Guidelines
• Type of Equipment: GE patient monitors, Stryker and Hillrom beds
• EMR: Expanse

Typical Procedures Performed:

• Pedi-adult cases from lumpectomies, tubes, and tonsils to open heart surgery, including trauma

Required Qualifications:

• 2 years of experience in a hospital setting required
• Active NH license at submission
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• PACU and PACU pedi experience Level II or higher

Preferred Qualifications:

• ICU experience
• ER experience
• CPAN certification

Call Requirements:

• 30-minute response time, dressed and ready to accept patients in the PACU
• Call frequency is once a week Monday through Thursday, one Friday every 5 weeks, and 2 24-hour weekend shifts in a 5-week schedule

The unit self-schedules with the nurse leader moving staff as needed to cover the unit, ensuring a supportive work environment.
