Join a leading acute-care hospital in Gallatin, TN, as a Travel RN specializing in OB/GYN. This contract position offers a unique opportunity to provide quality healthcare in a supportive environment, serving the community for over 60 years.
The facility is a fully accredited Level III Trauma Center, employing over 1,000 staff members and 300 physicians. With 167 beds, it is one of the largest non-government employers in Sumner County, dedicated to delivering exceptional care to maternity women and newborns.
As a Travel RN in the Labor and Delivery unit, you will be responsible for:
- Providing high-quality nursing care to patients in the Labor and Delivery department.
- Circulating during c-sections and utilizing OB Tracevue for charting strips.
- Monitoring patient conditions and administering medications as needed.
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
**Orientation is weekly, on Mondays. Local Rate: $48.00; Candidates must be 60 miles or greater to be considered Travel.**
Required Certifications: ACLS, AWHONN, BLS, NRP
Experience: Minimum of 1 year in Labor and Delivery, with skills in fetal monitoring. Preferred experience includes PALS and familiarity with Centricity and Meditech.
Patient Ratios: 1:1 on Pitocin, 1:2 otherwise. Weekend hours rotate every other weekend, with call requirements of 2 shifts in a 6-week period.
Dress Code: Any scrub color is acceptable.
