Unit Information:

• Number of Beds: 13
• Number of Staff: 20
• Patient Ratios: 5:1, sometimes 4:1 (estimated ratios, not guaranteed)
• EMR: Meditech / CPN

General Information:

We are looking for candidates with a minimum of 1 year of Med/Surg/Oncology hospital RN experience. The ideal candidate should possess BLS certification, with ACLS and Chemotherapy Certification as preferred qualifications. Prior experience with Meditech is a plus.

Unit Guidelines/Policies:

Our Oncology unit is relatively new, having been established just 3 years ago, and is well-organized with all equipment in good working order. We are proud to report over 3 years without CAUTI, over 4 months without CLABSI, and over 1 year without CDIFF acquired infection. Last year, one of our team members received a Daisy Award for exceptional nursing care. Our staff collectively boasts over 160 years of experience, and our Director has been in her role for over 5 years. We offer self-scheduling with a commitment to work every other weekend, providing flexibility and work-life balance.
