Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Contract RN in the Emergency Department (ER) in San Antonio, TX. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, providing critical care to patients in need. We are looking for dedicated professionals who are passionate about patient care and thrive in fast-paced settings.
Unit Information:
- Number of Beds: 9
- Number of Staff: 17
- Patient Ratios: 1:4
Typical Hiring Profile:
- Must Have: At least 2 years of ER experience
- Preferred: Meditech experience, FSED experience
Typical Procedures Performed:
- IV, bloodwork, Foley, breathing treatments, medication administration
Best Personality Fit: Team-oriented, accountable, integrity, compassion for patients
Required Certifications:
- BLS, ACLS, PALS or ENPC, TNCC, CPI
Floating Area(s): None but can provide hours if necessary to other facilities within 25 miles
Dress Code: Scrub Color/Attire - Navy Blue
Unit Guidelines/Policies: Follow healthcare policies. Rotating weekends (4 out of 8 requirement); no on-call.
