Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Travel Physical Therapist in Millcreek, UT! We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist to provide high-quality rehabilitation services in a supportive environment. This contract position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a close-knit therapy team that values collaboration and patient care.
General Information:
- Assignment Length: 13 Weeks
- Unit Specifics: Ground West Rehab Center (ARC)
- Patient Ratios: 3-5 patients per day
- Documentation System: EPIC and UDS
- Equipment: Sara Stedy, Vector, BITS, BURT, Bioness H200 UE, ARJO mobility device, mechanical lift, Liko overhead lift, walkers, canes, wheelchairs
Scheduling Requirements: Availability is needed every Friday to Sunday for 8-9 hour shifts, plus one mid-week shift. Cross-training on the acute care side will occur during week two. If the ARC is slow, the traveler may be assigned to the acute care side for the day.
Patient Experience Requirements: Previous acute rehab or acute care experience preferred. Candidates must have a good understanding of neuro, multi-trauma, and medically complex diagnoses. Strong documentation skills, communication abilities, and time management skills are essential.
Certifications Required: Must have an up-to-date BLS certification, a Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program, and a valid Utah state license to practice.
Dress Code: Required uniform includes gray scrub top and black scrub pants, along with closed-toed shoes. Gray business casual shirts and black pants are acceptable; no logos, jeans, leggings, or shorts.
