Join a leading healthcare provider as a Step Down Registered Nurse in Beaufort, SC. This exciting contract position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment while providing high-quality patient care in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) and Step Down settings. Our facility is committed to fostering a supportive atmosphere for our nursing professionals.

This role requires a minimum of 2 years of Med Surg experience, with travelers expected to have both Step Down and PCU experience. Nurses will float to the PCU unit as needed, so comfort and flexibility in both Med Surg and Step Down environments are essential. The nurse-to-patient ratios are 1:4-5 in Step Down and 1:5-6 in Med Surg.

Important details for this position:

• Travelers must not live within 50 miles of the facility.
• First-time travelers are accepted.
• The facility will not accept any license or background hits; candidates must already be licensed in South Carolina.
• Unit profile: 4T MS unit - a 29-bed general surgical and orthopedic unit with medical overflow.
• Certifications required: BCLS, ACLS.
• Preferred experience: 2 years of travel experience.
• Scrubs provided: No, royal blue/white.
• EMR: Meditech (MR).
