Join a leading healthcare facility as a Step Down Registered Nurse in Beaufort, SC. This contract position is ideal for RNs with a passion for providing exceptional care in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) setting. We are looking for candidates who can thrive in a dynamic environment and are comfortable floating between Step Down and Med-Surg units.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in the Step Down and Med-Surg units.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Float to Med-Surg and Tele units as needed, ensuring flexibility and adaptability.

Requirements:

• Must have at least 2 years of Med-Surg experience.
• Step Down/PCU experience required.
• Must be comfortable floating frequently between units.
• Must already hold a valid South Carolina nursing license.
• BCLS certification required.
• IV start skills required.
• Travel experience preferred.

Additional Information:

• Unit: 5T - 22 bed adult MS Oncology unit.
• Shift dates include weekdays, every other weekend, and holidays as needed.
• Scrubs provided: No, royal blue/white required.
• EMR: Meditech (LC).
