Unit Information:
- Unit: Orthopedic/Spine
- Number of Beds: 345
- Number of Staff: Approximately 80 in the float pool
- Patient Ratios: 1:5 (days and nights may vary between units)
- EMR: Meditech
Typical Hiring Profile:
- Must Have: Minimum 1-year current Med/Surg/Ortho hospital experience, BLS certification
- Preferred: ACLS, Chemo Certification (ability to schedule on our Oncology unit)
Typical Procedures Performed:
- Joint replacements and fracture repairs
- Spinal injuries
