Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Travel CT Tech in Andalusia, AL. This contract position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare environment, focusing on patient care and advanced imaging technology.

As a CT Tech, you will review patient history and physician's orders, educating patients about procedures, equipment, and exams to ensure their understanding and cooperation. You will prepare and administer contrast media and/or medications within your scope of practice, continually monitoring patient conditions and responding to changes as appropriate.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing equipment and supplies for imaging procedures.
• Implementing safety standards and performing quality control procedures on equipment.
• Troubleshooting and resolving equipment malfunctions as necessary.
• Positioning patients and performing imaging procedures.
• Analyzing results and identifying issues with image quality, taking appropriate action to resolve these issues.
• Entering, transmitting, and reporting scan results.

Facility Requirements:

• Must have BLS certification (must be through the American Heart Association).
• Must have ARRT certification in Radiography (RD) & CT.
• Education: Associate degree in radiologic technology; completion of CT technology certificate program preferred.
• Must have 2 years of recent experience in Radiology & CT.
• Will be required to float between X-ray & CT departments.
