As a Travel RN in the Emergency Department, you will be part of a dynamic team in a high-volume setting, serving a diverse community with over 120 languages spoken in the area. The Emergency Department features 101 beds and typically maintains a patient ratio of 4:1, with the capacity to handle up to 7:1 on behavioral holds.

Unit Specifics:

Type of Equipment: Baxter pumps, GE monitors
Documentation System: Cerner
Staffing Description: Techs available for support in cardiac monitoring and triage
Floating Policy: No floating outside of the ED, but flexibility to float within the ED is required

Requirements:

2 years of nursing experience with at least 1 year in an ER setting
Experience in a Level II trauma center and comprehensive stroke center preferred
Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, NIHSS (all required before starting date), ENPC within 90 days of hire
Teamwork mentality and ability to provide real-time feedback
Flexibility to work in all areas of the ED
